OUR HISTORY

JBM, Inc was founded in 1985 in Dalton, Georgia as an independently owned typewriter service center. In 1988, JBM became a Brother typewriter dealer.

To supplement the product selection, in 1991 Panasonic products were introduced. Mita Royal Copystar copiers became part of JBM in 1995. Computer service and sales departments were formed in 1997, to enable JBM to meet the needs of any office. Minolta Products were added in 1999 to provide customers with additional quality and selection. In 2003, Sharp copiersand fax products were included. And to further enhance JBM’s overall ability to meet any office’s equipment needs Lexmark printers and multifunction products were introduced in 2006. Over time, JBM has expanded its product line to include copiers, multifunction units, printers, time clocks, cash registers and personal computers. Along with custom programming, paperless solutions and a networking solutions team, JBM has become your complete office solution.

For thirty-eight years I have worked diligently in the office industry. In the beginning of my career with office equipment, I began repairing adding machines and manual typewriters. I watched the evolution of this industry to computers and connected products.
